Start Taking Better Photos Today : Rule of Thirds

Most of the beginner photographers face the problem of getting well balanced and interesting shots. During the initial stages the have issue with the positioning of object in the frame. The "Rule of Thirds" is one of that a beginner photographer must learn. However these rules are meant to be broken and ignoring doesn't mean your images are necessarily uninteresting or unbalanced. But to break a rule you should always learn it first so that to make sure your breaking of it is all the more effective.

The Rule of Thirds

      The Rule of Thirds is imaginary breaking an image down into thirds both horizontally and vertically total of 9 parts 

The Rule of Thirds probably the most golden out of all golden rules in Photography and Cinematography. But before photography and cinematography we were creating paintings. Painters of that time wanted to create artwork that showcased more of the background, so there was a conversation happening. They found that they could showcase more of the background and crate more of this conversation by taking the subject out of the center and moving it along one of these intersecting lines in the frame. There are 9 equal blocks you can divide each frame up in to, with four intersecting points. Placing the subject at one of these 4 intersecting points creates much more dynamic communication

 with the person viewing the photo. Placing at these point gives the viewer, subject and background in detail.

Simple Guide to Nature photography Beginners

First of all I would like to say something to my readers, " I am not even a good photographer, I am a beginner and I would like to share my experiences, suggestions and guidelines to absolute beginner photographers. In this article I am sharing with you some details about my gear, tips to choose a gear and small tricks to make the photo good. I love capturing nature and its companions so my article is purely based on Nature photography.

My Camera

     Don't think that I brought my camera for nature photography or wildlife, my ultimate motive was to make YouTube videos to make some side revenue. Unfortunately it ended as a disaster. The device is Nikon's D3400 and the lenses are 18-55 mm kit and 70-300 block lens. Even though it's an entry level one its worth the money you pay for an entry level DSLR. 

How to choose the proper Gear

     Even any camera can take awesome shots but its completely up to the photographer, the way they think, how he predicts,how he utilize the background, knowing his camera capabilities mainly proper timing and so on. First you should find out what kind of photography you are interested in, as there are different categories in photography itself like Landscape, Portraits, Wildlife, Aerial, Sports, Architectural etc.. Read articles by pro photographers, watch their reviews about different gears, their comparisons etc. Once you decide to get in to photography, the next thing is camera. As I told above any camera can take photos and making the photo awesome is only up to you. ( I am writing a dedicated article on choosing the right gear, once it's over you can expect link here)

3 basic tips

 Take photos

     At the beginning you may not get awesome shots, don't give up! when you see your object imagine how your photo should look, what details you want in the pic, think about which angle suits best, check the lighting and make the shot. This is the very basic thing in photography. Shoot as much as you can.spend hours and hours taking photos. Your technical skills surely improve over time. Don't worry about shooting a certain way to begin with. Shoot on your own style, don't even think to imitate some one else's shots, everyone's view over subjects is different.

Go Manual Mode

     In auto mode you will get good shots. Don't stick Lazy with auto-mode. Explore the capabilities of manual mode. It gives the photographer complete freedom to decide the output.

Use Tripod

     A tripod is a good companion for every photographer. It helps lot in stabilizing the shot and your arms will not get tired of holding the camera.
